Requirements

  • Technical curiosity and excitement about delivering technology solutions that delight customers and solve business problems
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in UCaaS, CCaaS, and AI technologies (5-8 years preferred)
  • Enterprise-level Sales Engineering experience with a SaaS, UCaaS, or CCaaS company
  • In-person demo experience and comfort with public speaking engagements
  • Experience working with C-level and Executive-level prospects and customers
  • Experience dabbles in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python
  • Fundamental traits: Scrappy, Curious, Optimistic, Persistent, and Empathetic
  • Complete a Sales Engineering Demo Certification

Responsibilities

  • Own running demos and proof of concepts, including gathering success criteria, system configuration, admin training, user training, and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with Account Executives to identify key customer requirements and present Dialpad solutions that meet those requirements
  • Build technical relationships with prospects
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations
  • Run high-touch proof of concepts
  • Learn the many technical tools the Sales Engineering team uses to test network environments
  • Partner with the Enterprise Sales team throughout the entire sales process
  • Provide technical closure in sales opportunities
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Dialpad’s products and services and relate it understandably to non-technical customers
  • Provide pre-sales technical support for all Dialpad products and services, aligning with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and management
