Requirements

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, with significant time marketing to developers and technical audiences
  • Experience launching developer platforms, APIs, or infrastructure products
  • Understanding of how developers evaluate tools, adopt new technologies, and create bottom-up adoption with top-down enterprise sales
  • Demonstrated mastery in positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging, and go-to-market strategy
  • Technically fluent: can read and understand code, know how APIs work, have credible conversations with engineers about technical architecture
  • Understand the MCP ecosystem, AI agent workflows, and infrastructure that powers modern software
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and precision
  • Experience marketing products to diverse customer segments: individual practitioners, enterprise buyers, and platform developers
  • Ability to craft different narratives for different personas while maintaining a cohesive brand story
  • Ruthless prioritization based on business impact and aligning stakeholders around a clear strategy
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Sales teams to bring complex products to market
  • Build trust with technical teams by understanding their constraints and enable sales teams to sell confidently
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams simultaneously, keeping everyone aligned on goals and timelines
  • Act as a decision maker and thought leader (IC5 level), not just an executor
  • Data-driven: fuse market insights, customer research, and product capabilities into compelling narratives
  • Use data to validate opportunities, measure impact, and iterate on strategy
  • Ability to position products in competitive markets and create differentiation that resonates

  • Work with Product, Partnerships, and Sales teams to make Zapier MCP the most simple, secure, and scalable way to turn AI agents into active, transformative teammates
  • Position Zapier MCP across the entire developer ecosystem: individual developers building AI workflows, enterprise teams deploying governed AI solutions, and third-party developers embedding MCP into their own applications
  • Shape a product category at the intersection of AI and automation
