Responsibilities

  • Provide process safety engineering support to the Global Facility Delivery team and the Site Health Safety and Environmental Team
  • Partner with site engineering and HSE teams to provide additional capacity for tasks including operational readiness, C&Q support, on-floor process support, document reviews, and change controls
  • Support the roll-out of process safety management (PSM) program elements, such as employee participation, Management of Change, Pre-Startup Safety Review, and Process hazard analysis (PHA)
  • Support the Site PSM Team through training, mentoring, and onboarding of staff to help develop a strong process safety culture
  • Coach and develop local technical team capabilities to support acceleration of operational excellence and technical skills
  • Utilize root cause analysis techniques to investigate process safety and equipment issues and deliver solutions
