High School Diploma or GED
3+ years applicable work experience
Experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, industrial automation, and controls technology
Strong mechanical skills including the ability to perform mechanical disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of complicated equipment
Knowledge of industrial control wiring systems
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with equipment operators
Interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Welding/Machining/Fabrication proficiency
Able to lift 40-50 lbs. without assistance
Able to stand for up to 6 hours at a time, up to 12 hours a day, with frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting at waist, and climbing ladders
Possess the abilities to perform the physical requirements of the assigned job as identified by the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with or without reasonable accommodations
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards and cleanroom protocols (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)
Ability to work in environmental conditions including loud noises, some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), and with hazardous/toxic materials
Training and experience with safety programs such as lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space, and elevated work (preferred)
Powered industrial equipment operation training (preferred)
Proficient in electrical, electronics and controls technologies (preferred)
Process automation control troubleshooting experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Make repairs or adjustments as instructed by a work order or verbal request by management on all production process equipment and anything supporting production
Fabricate minor replacement/repair parts as needed within maintenance machining/welding shop
Assist in analyzing and correcting problems encountered during Maintenance work to ensure work is performed according to SOP’s
Daily communications with Maintenance Team Lead regarding shift-to-shift transfer information for downtime or any significant information
Connect with supervisor/engineering regarding equipment condition and provide recommendations for improved reliability plan
