Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in medical devices, service, repair, or equipment support (strongly preferred)
  • Experience in a regulated industry operating under a Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience providing audit support
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (including continuous improvement, problem solving, A3, and DMAIC)
  • Familiarity with compliance and quality standards
  • Strong data-driven approach, with a proven ability to analyze and utilize data effectively for informed decision-making and process improvements
  • Experience in warehouse management and cycle counting
  • Previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activities in the Service and Repair area(s) to meet timeliness, quality, compliance, and cost objectives
  • Prioritize schedules based on delivery needs, receiving, product mix, equipment availability, and materials inventory
  • Plan and administer procedures and work instructions
  • Generate and analyze business KPI metrics related to outbound delivery, complaint analysis timeliness, and inventory management
  • Ensure achievement of standard work and monthly business metrics
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Recruit, train, and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department
  • Coach and supervise a group of repair technicians and clerks to ensure the timely and cost-effective repair, analysis, and shipping of high-quality external medical devices
