Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders and executives to lead Salesforce application designs and other Salesforce developers/architects.
  • Recommend implementation strategies and consult on product purchasing strategy with Salesforce and Salesforce marketplace products.
  • Build and execute technology roadmaps.
  • Manage strategic and tactical direction of the Salesforce platform and integrations to other systems.
  • Set principles on platform-level design standards, such as managing large data volumes and working with Salesforce governor limits and platform limitations.
  • Lead and execute digital transformation solutions, collaborating with US and India teammates.
  • Manage and mentor a team responsible for designing, configuring, developing, supporting, and administering Salesforce and other supporting systems.
  • Conduct regular system audits, implement best practices for data management, and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Ensure data security, compliance with industry standards, and data integrity throughout the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Manage demand through collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize/digitize business processes and partner with Business stakeholders in implementing solutions.
  • Stay current on all new features and functionality provided by Salesforce and the effective management of external partners.
  • Select technology solutions and system integrators, negotiate contracts, and manage vendors.
  • Drive continuous improvement on existing technology platforms to improve customer/partner experience, scalability, security, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes.

Professional Experience

  • 15+ years of experience/expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud and/or Sales Cloud and/or Commerce Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Experience, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Experience in architecting solutions on Experience Cloud, Health Cloud.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience of various tools in the Salesforce ecosystem (Salesforce DevOps) and tools like Copado, GitHub, backup/recovery tools.
  • Experience in the implementation of Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein AI, and understanding of integration with multiple ERPs.
  • Proven ability to combine intuition, business judgment, and discretion in decision-making.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Team player with high accountability and a “get things done” attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead via influence in cross-functional environments.
