Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, such as Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, and hold a minimum of 8 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with at least 5 years in a management role. Strong leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and health authorities are essential. Experience with real-world data (RWD) generation studies and strategic planning for diagnostics products is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Manager, Medical Affairs, the individual will provide daily business operations support to Medical Affairs activities, focusing on Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (RMDx)/Cardiometabolic and Informatics (CMI) products. This includes developing and executing strategic activities for medical affairs, collaborating with experts to enhance the clinical utility of Point Of Care testing (POCT), publishing key studies, providing medical and scientific information to support healthcare providers, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies. The role also involves responding to healthcare providers’ requests for scientific information and assisting with on-market product issues.
