Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, and have at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, virtualization platforms, and hyper-converged infrastructure with a strong focus on automation. Deep expertise in Linux Server administration, operations, escalation support, and security best practices is required, along with proficiency in automation tools and technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, and scripting languages like Bash, Python, and PowerShell. A strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, is also necessary.
As a Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer - Linux, you will design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.) across data centers and cloud environments globally. You will provide escalation support for complex Linux Server issues, collaborate with operations and support teams to resolve incidents efficiently, define security best practices and compliance standards, and participate in automation and IaC projects to optimize system performance. Furthermore, you will mentor junior engineers, ensure security and industry standards are met, manage virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure, and maintain comprehensive backups, monitoring, capacity planning, and documentation for all data centers globally, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
