Requirements

  • Strong Technical Background: At least 5+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role with at least 3+ of those years in a technical customer-facing role
  • Pre-sales Experience: Selling complex API-based products or SaaS products including technical discovery, presenting demos, etc
  • Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) in a SaaS environment
  • A Marathon Runner and a Strategist: Patient, proactive, and motivated by the long-term pursuit of solving complex, deep challenges. Values building trusted, enduring relationships over quick wins

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary, embedded technical owner and trusted advisor for a portfolio of strategic clients, building deep, long-term relationships from the engineer level to the C-suite
  • Develop unparalleled technical mastery of both the RapidSOS intelligent safety platform and your client's specific, complex technical ecosystem
  • Lead complex diagnostic sessions, using elite listening skills to identify the root cause of technical challenges, not just the symptoms
  • Architect, design, and co-develop novel solutions to solve unique client challenges, turning ambitious "moonshot" ideas into reality
  • Move beyond reactive support by proactively analyzing client systems, anticipating future needs, and developing a strategic technical roadmap for long-term success
  • Build and maintain deep trust through patience, empathy, and savvy political navigation of complex client organizations
  • Identify and scope new expansion opportunities from your position of trust, demonstrating how RapidSOS can deliver further value to grow the account
  • Serve as the client's technical advocate within RapidSOS, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams to ensure their needs are met and their voice is heard
