Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-10+ years of experience in software development
  • 3-5+ years of team management experience
  • Experience evaluating new technologies and participating in decision-making, considering factors such as viability within Target’s technical environment, compliance requirements, approved tech status, maintainability, and cost of ownership
  • Proven ability to deliver high-performance, scalable, reliable, and secure solutions with broad impact
  • Experience leading functional design and architecture discussions, with an understanding of process flows and system diagrams to support design decisions
  • Provides technical oversight and coaching to others in resolving technical issues

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of full stack engineers responsible for ITSM and AI/Gen AI capabilities
  • Laying out the future architectural vision for the ITSM capabilities aligned to a modernized technology solution with consideration to effective and efficient user experiences
  • Serving as the technical representative for the team during cross-team collaborative efforts and planning
  • Driving strong and innovative approaches to problem solving
  • Providing great technical leadership
  • Demonstrating excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal)
  • Exhibiting flexibility, accountability, and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail
