Requirements

A minimum of 4+ years of portfolio management experience at a BU or Division level and 15+ years of combined product development and project management experience, with some in Life Sciences, are required. Excellent English and executive communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations, are essential. Proven ability to work independently on complex problems and influence diverse teams is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director will lead the strategic growth and implementation of the R&D portfolio for Cell Biology, translating strategic plans into a multi-year roadmap. Responsibilities include critically reviewing the NPI portfolio, assessing ROI, and driving continuous improvement. This role involves representing the Portfolio & Program Management organization on leadership teams, building cross-functional relationships, and championing best practices in program management. Additionally, the Senior Director will hire, develop, and mentor a team of program and segment-portfolio managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
