Requirements

The Sr. Director of Finance and Procurement must have experience staffing and leading diverse teams, developing and implementing local financial, procurement, and compliance processes, and integrating with global processes and systems like SAP. They should possess a financial/business perspective for a Lead Team, be skilled in attracting, coaching, developing, and retaining talent, and provide financial guidance on policies, procedures, and controls. Experience in capital management, financial controls (SOx), accounting for plant site activities, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes is essential. Additionally, the role requires expertise in procurement, including leading teams, identifying high-risk materials and suppliers, managing negotiations and contracts, identifying savings opportunities, and stewarding strategic business planning, forecasting, and site metrics processes.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director of Finance and Procurement will staff and lead a team across Finance, Procurement, and CCI, developing operational execution for each role. They will provide broad financial support for planning, forecasting, and actual reporting, and oversee the procurement and sourcing agenda for a new site, including sourcing and managing new suppliers. This role involves exposure to cross-functional leadership, people development, network strategy, operational excellence, materials planning, contract negotiation, and capital management. The Sr. Director will also be a core member of the site Lead Team responsible for staffing, startup, and running the new plant site, ensuring operational readiness, providing financial guidance, leading capital management, maintaining financial controls, and assuring timely and accurate accounting. Responsibilities also include procuring materials, identifying and mitigating risks, managing vendor relationships, executing procurement savings opportunities, and supporting site strategic, business planning, forecasting, performance assessment, and decision-making processes.
