Requirements
- Masters in Computer Science or related field, or BS with equivalent work experience
- 15+ years of overall engineering experience, including 5+ years as director or above
- Hands-on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization
- Solid design and problem-solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance
- Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering
- Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and code velocity
- Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably in Golang, Java or Scala
- Technically profound with domain knowledge of asset management, exposure management, including a strong understanding of some of the current prevalent products in the space
- Experience building and leading a team focused on building scalable cloud-based solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead the charge on building innovative solutions leveraging and building a consolidated exposure management platform for various first and 3rd party data sources
- Build in best practices of software development; code review, automated tests, agile development, retrospective, incremental improvements and continuous deployment
- Work on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projects, collaborating cross-functionally with peers in engineering, sales and product
- Participate and lead the architecture, design and development of new features
- Drive and deliver on the technical strategy, roadmap and OKRs for areas of responsibility
- Mentor the team
- Engage and collaborate with various teams to ensure product success
- Work collaboratively and confidently with internal stakeholders using strong communication skills
- Complete tasks for multiple projects simultaneously and work with various cross-functional teams across the globe
