Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing organization of engineers and managers, setting the technical vision and execution strategy for AI-driven Training and Coaching products
  • Collaborate effectively with key partners including Designers, Product Managers, and TPMs
  • Uphold and build upon Highspot’s culture, ensuring Engineering is welcoming and inclusive, meeting/exceeding DE&I goals
  • Manage software evolution, optimizing architecture and stack for hyper-growth, high-availability, security, reliability across data centers, and support adjacent product areas
  • Deeply understand strategic value and market opportunity; define KPIs and growth plans
  • Create a collaborative environment where all engineers contribute meaningfully
  • Partner with Services team to address customer concerns timely and drive customer joy
  • Advocate for tools, processes, and resources enabling core dev team success and innovation
  • Mentor and guide professional/technical development of managers and engineers
  • Define clear roles/responsibilities for efficient decision-making, trade-off analysis, and balance of objectives
  • Ensure involvement of architects, stakeholders, and SMEs in decisions
  • Communicate decisions within and outside the team
  • Enforce accountability via empathetic, objective performance targets, feedback, and coaching
  • Advise Product leadership on costs/benefits of projects
