Requirements

The candidate must have a proven track record of implementing consumption programs for software and automations. They should possess proficient knowledge of different software licensing metrics by vendors and the ability to track deployments. Strong technical and analytical skills are necessary to influence procurement decisions for Corporate IT. Experience leading teams through various stages of the software SKU lifecycle, from demand gathering and deal analysis to deployment tracking and maintenance renewals, is essential. The role requires the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional groups, including internal stakeholders and external customers and vendors, to formalize roadmaps and priorities. The candidate must also demonstrate accountability and contribute to departmental procedures, best practices, and standards.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director will lead a newly formed Demand and Spend Management function, tracking the spend of all third-party vendor software and hardware products, reviewing consumption, and performing vendor cost analysis and budgeting. This leader will manage a team of analysts to ensure timely execution of vendor deals and purchases with favorable terms for the company. Responsibilities include increasing Visa's Azure cloud cost management capabilities and achieving cost efficiencies. The role also involves serving as the lead for Corporate Tools Developer Experience initiatives, partnering with different technology teams to align technology strategy, and tracking vendor performance. The leader will set processes, guide analysts, ensure diligence and fiscal responsibility for all third-party CIT purchases, and represent the demand management team in audits. They will act as a technical liaison between Engineering teams, finance, and sourcing, and communicate regularly with senior leadership on technical issues, program status, and escalations.
