Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent experience, along with 3 years of experience writing advanced SQL and scripting languages such as Python and Bash, and 3 years of Linux experience. They should also have 3 years of experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and data warehouses, including Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, and MongoDB, alongside knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals and experience with public cloud providers like GCP, AWS, and Azure, and familiarity with tools like Github, CI/CD, and GitLab.
The Sr. Data Reliability Engineer I will analyze and externalize DoubleVerify’s data internally, monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and technologies, and improve data quality. They will script extensively in Python and SQL, create reports and data visualizations using tools like Splunk and Grafana, work with Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, OLTP, and MongoDB, utilize Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm charts, build relationships with various teams to solve operational issues, implement quality improvements, and participate in an on-call rotation.
