Requirements

Expertise in advising and coordinating components activities and programs within Engineering
Experience in developing and implementing transfer plans
Ability to develop, maintain, and improve Business Processes
Knowledge of production at lowest cost consistent with quality control and schedules
Full technical and administrative responsibility to interpret, organize, complete, and coordinate areas of responsibility
Understanding of multiple departments for decision-making
Supervision is essentially administrative, with general terms for assignments, objectives, and limits

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects of suppliers around capacity, capability, and maintenance to improve supplier delivery, quality, and cost
Provide technical guidance, approval/validation of changes/improvements in supplier processes
Provide technical support for resolution of component quality issues
Resolve tooling requirements to maintain component supply
Oversee technical execution of projects and provide comprehensive technical advice
Facilitate resolution of complex technical and operational problems
Promote innovation initiatives for new products and ideas
Review and approve user documentation to verify compliance with technical specifications and standards
Communicate with internal (manufacturing, quality, engineering) and external partners to coordinate and implement project plans
Assign tasks according to projected scopes including compliance and quality improvement, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, capacity increase, raw material qualification, and launch preparation
Monitor smooth execution of plans and programs at lower levels and multi-functional
Allocate proper level of resources to facilitate attainment of project goals within established timelines and budgets
Ensure departmental and company compliance with all local government and company regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
Ensure introduction of new products in compliance with operational G&O
Develop all capital investment and operational expense budgets that support business needs; provide analysis of variance and corrective actions
Review and recommend changes to current policies and procedures as they apply to present business needs
Provide and establish an appropriate climate for operation within the business unit through implementation of projects related to continuous improvement and in compliance with regulations
