Requirements

Experience designing, building, and scaling high-quality infrastructure from early stages to maturity
Experience with automation, particularly with Terraform and Terragrunt
Experience with AWS (EKS, SQS, Aurora, S3)
Experience with Kubernetes in a scaling environment
Strong engineering background with a history of designing resilient systems
Experience architecting and operating highly available database solutions, ideally Aurora PostgreSQL
Ability to autonomously design, build, and scale infrastructure
Ability to proactively identify and solve critical infrastructure problems
Experience with improving developer experience
Experience leading, mentoring, and collaborating with engineers

Responsibilities

Design and build infrastructure and tooling to support the Assured platform
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Evolve platform foundations across AWS
Partner with product and engineering teams to improve performance and reliability
Strengthen security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards
Improve developer experience by building systems that make it easier and faster to deliver value
Lead, mentor, and collaborate with engineers
Navigate ambiguity and persist through challenges
Make others better through code reviews, documentation, technical guidance, and mentorship
