Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of trust or asset management and/or finance and relevant business segment specific issues, usually acquired through work experience
  • Ability to act as technical/industry expert in master trust and custody services
  • Skills in analyzing client needs, recommending improvements, and assessing impacts of new services
  • Experience managing administrative and relationship needs of institutional trust clients
  • Ability to respond to client inquiries and coordinate client activity
  • Capability to identify opportunities for expanding business relationships through additional products or services
  • Proficiency in partnering with Relationship Managers/Client Executives/Product Owners
  • Skills in consulting on best practices, process redesign, and implementation of Trust and Custody services
  • Ability to ensure client satisfaction through service team facilitation, resource coordination, and issue resolution
  • Understanding of client's business, objectives, goals, and market challenges
  • Knowledge to counsel on emerging issues, bank products/services, legal/regulatory changes, and financial environment
  • Experience participating in solution development, coordinating presentations, and delivering new services
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed for revenue, new business, or servicing

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administrative and relationship needs of institutional trust clients
  • Respond to client inquiries and coordinate client activity
  • Identify opportunities for expanding business relationships through additional products or services
  • Act as key consultant to clients, assisting in best practices, process redesign, and evaluation/implementation of Trust and Custody services
  • Act as technical/industry expert in delivering master trust and custody services, analyzing needs, recommending improvements, and assessing impacts
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction by facilitating service team efforts, coordinating resources for timely deliverables and issue resolution, and communicating client concerns to partners
  • Develop complete understanding of client's business, objectives, goals, and market challenges to share best practices
  • Counsel clients on emerging issues, bank products/services, legal/regulatory changes, and general financial environment, translating impacts
  • Participate in developing solutions to client needs, coordinate presentations, bring in experts, and ensure smooth delivery of new services
  • Partner with Relationship Managers/Client Executives/Product Owners to expand shared relationships
  • Travel to client locations on a targeted basis where revenue, new business opportunities, or servicing require meetings
