Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Education, Computer Science, Data Systems, Statistics, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in IT or technical training or technical writing, and 8+ years of experience working with customers in a certification development or content development role. A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly is also required, as is an understanding of the benefits and practices associated with remote and asynchronous work.
The Sr. Certification Exam Development Program Manager will lead and facilitate exam development workshops with subject matter experts, including program design, job task analyses, item writing, item technical reviews, and standard setting; recruit and train subject matter experts globally on exam development best practices; work with psychometric and exam delivery vendors to ensure exams meet statistical and program requirements; review and revise exam questions for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, and tone, ensuring readability and alignment with Snowflake editorial and style guidelines; manage the launch of new and existing certification exam programs, including development of practice exams, study guides, and web-based content; develop high-quality marketing materials, including program articles, reports, and blog posts to support program objectives; drive enhancements and operationalization of exam development processes and systems, including managing workflows and assignments; participate in the publishing and localization process for the certification program and any maintenance of exam forms; and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
