Requirements

2-4+ years of top tier professional experience from Strategic Finance, Business Operations, FP&A, or other highly analytical role at a fast-growing startup, possibly starting in investing, management consulting, and/or investment banking
High analytical horsepower paired with strong modeling and data skills; ability to translate business concepts to well-structured spreadsheet models; excitement to learn new analytical tools; familiarity with SQL/database concepts and modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Pigment) is a plus
Attention to detail and strong strategic instincts; meticulous in ensuring precise and error-free output, paired with 80/20 sense to prioritize critical vs. secondary elements
Growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity; ability to create structure from ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent communication and partnership skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders (e.g., sales reps to engineers), build credibility, relationships, and buy-in; fantastic written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, potential acquisition targets, and partnership opportunities
Participate in due diligence processes, including data analysis, financial review, and coordination with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Legal, etc.)
Track and analyze key performance indicators for strategic projects
Prepare summaries, reports, and updates for senior leadership and executive team
Contribute to strategic finance special projects as needed
