Job Summary

Cars Commerce is seeking a passionate, data savvy Senior Analyst to join the growing Enterprise Analytics team and fuel our mission of growth through data-driven insights and opportunity discovery. In this dynamic role, you will dive into data and analytics to uncover opportunities and support the enterprise’s priorities across business functions - focused first on Revenue and Customer data. You will also enable senior stakeholders with actionable, intuitive measurement & performance insights that help the enterprise grow. The ideal candidate will have a robust mix of technical, business and communication skills, with a passion for optimization, data storytelling, and data visualization. You will collaborate with a centralized team of analysts as well as teams across the organization focusing on Sales, but also including Product, Marketing, Data, and senior leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key influencer to the company’s strategic decisions and to learn and grow with our Enterprise Analytics team.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize internal and third-party data into actionable insights that inform enterprise priorities, including sales and acquisition, customer retention, customer value delivery, customer segmentation, etc.
  • Clearly communicate these recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating to achieve and measure project success.
  • Interpret data to gather actionable insights that will lead to meaningful revenue growth either by increasing sales, reducing churn, or optimizing profitability.
  • Create compelling, intuitive stories / dashboards that lead to powerful insights and data-driven decisions.
  • Leverage technical tools (e.g. AWS Redshift, Amplitude, Tableau, Split, Python, and/or R) to analyze data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience in analytics role and experience with digital analytics.
  • Experience with analyzing large datasets and coming up with actionable business insights.
  • Experience working with sales and retention teams and metrics.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau).
