Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with over 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar finance role. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, excellent analytical skills for complex financial data interpretation, and proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration. Familiarity with automation and data analysis tools like Alteryx or Power BI, or a strong willingness to learn them, is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include a CPA certification or a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience with financial systems such as Oracle, Anaplan, or SmartView, and demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

The Sr Analyst, Financial Analysis will partner with the Revenue Office and Customer Experience Office to manage a significant expense budget and P&L, acting as the financial expert to understand and communicate variance analysis to business partners. Responsibilities include driving the annual budget process and monthly forecasting activities, developing and evolving financial reporting mechanisms with an initial focus on headcount reporting, and identifying opportunities to automate data flows, analysis, and reporting processes. The role also involves providing strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business objectives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and processes.
