Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Science and Technology, or a related field, along with two years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role. Required experience includes SQL querying and report authoring for data discovery, predictive modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis. Proficiency in reporting concepts such as data warehousing and dashboarding, and managing tools like Cognos, Toad/SQL Developer, and Hive is necessary. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office software for ad-hoc analysis and executive reporting, creating reporting test plans and reconciliation processes, and working with key stakeholders on reporting requirements and automation is also required. Additionally, experience with Zuora Cloud Billing for data interpretation and forecasting, translating metrics and business impact to Finance leaders, and creating/executing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) related to data correctness between systems is essential.
The Reporting Analyst will write SQL reports for global DSX Finance organizations across various operational and reporting systems, and support the delivery of daily, month-end, and year-end reports. They will configure and maintain automated reporting systems, implement proper technical and procedural controls to prevent errors, and support the Reporting Scrum team by defining tests for feature acceptance criteria. The role involves executing User Acceptance Testing for financial reporting solutions and billing applications, innovating on existing business and system processes, and supporting ad-hoc analysis and special project reports. Responsibilities also include supporting the launch of new countries/regions into reporting and billing ecosystems and performing duties remotely.
