Requirements

  • 5+ years of technology industry experience within an analytics function
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Analytics (A/B Testing)
  • Expert-level SQL
  • Experience with Python/R (optional)
  • Advanced capabilities and experience with BI tools (Amplitude and Tableau preferred)
  • Experience with project management and supporting relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as statistics, computer science or mathematics (Advanced degrees preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with leaders in multi-functional roles
  • Ability to condense complicated data sets into concise and actionable stories

Responsibilities

  • Perform large-scale hypothesis testing and statistical analysis to find the best solution
  • Participate in product team ‘squad’ and advise on hypothesis design, primary success metrics, and secondary metrics
  • Collaborate with product to set up analytics tracking necessary to get insights
  • Be the last line of defense for sanity-checking variants and test setup
  • Create clear and easy-to-understand analysis and recommendations
  • Develop solutions for communicating data across various stakeholders
  • Partner with product leadership to solve business problems and identify trends for growth opportunities
  • Be a trusted partner to product managers and help them succeed in their mission to improve the product
