Requirements

Experienced analytics professional with deep knowledge and expertise in data domains and analytical best practices
Skills and experience relevant to Inventory (e.g., allocation, replenishment, store tiering, product lifecycle, intra-network logistics, customer choice/SKU rationalize, performance tracker, demand forecasting, store location strategy, clearance, store transfers, markdowns, logistics testing) or Assortment (e.g., brand research/customer share and behaviors, store concept, visual presentation and performance, pricing and promotions, assortment strategy, athlete segmentation, store concept profiles, assortment testing, econometric pricing models, presentation standards, product bundles and offers)
Ability to operate autonomously in work creation, stakeholder engagement, and process development
Proven capacity to own workstreams fully and deliver impactful, strategic analytics and insights
Strong advisory skills to guide strategy and act as a data-led advisor to diverse stakeholders, thinking end-to-end and omni-channel
Visionary mindset in the analytics space, serving as a trusted advisor recognized for expertise

Responsibilities

Act as a connector and strategic guide for business and analytical leaders, partnering with data leaders and business stakeholders to define measurement strategy, metric definitions, inform data model requirements, and leverage AI to optimize inventory landscape
Serve as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, including executive levels
Help guide and shape strategic business decisions based on data, acting as the translator between data and deep insights to drive strategy
Provide support including proactive discovery and goal setting, reactive root cause analysis or measurement, and ad hoc support
Develop strategic analyses and occasional reporting to unearth insights and findings that inform data-rooted actions
Service ad-hoc analytics requests and stakeholder questions
Contribute to analytical initiatives and deliverables
Work with merchant and supply chain partners, data evangelists, and technologists to leverage data for insights and AI applications fueling assortment, pricing & promotion strategies, merchant planning, and supply chain optimization
Ensure offering the best, most relevant product to customers when and where they want it via data-informed insights and data-fueled applications
