Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences, and a minimum of 8+ years of sales experience, ideally within the medical sales, lab, science, or healthcare industry, or relevant experience. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, along with negotiation and customer relationship skills, are required. Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet is also necessary, as is the ability to travel to customer locations and pass vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Executive will lead the territory to ensure effective customer relations with various medical professionals, manage the strategic direction for the territory, develop sales strategies to meet objectives, perform sales calls, manage vendor relations, introduce new products and services, maintain accurate reporting, and positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at customer locations. They will also stay informed of competitor and industry activity and incorporate this data into the business plan.
