Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience in a B2B Account Management, Relationship Management, Sales role or Customer Success role in the FinTech and/or Payments industry and/or e-commerce/previous merchant experience
  • Experience in the FinTech and/or Payments industry is preferred
  • A strategic problem solver with excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of today’s major e-commerce and payments technologies, players and major future trends
  • Customer-centric approach with robust relationship-building skills
  • Multifaceted approach adapting to changing requirements with the ability to balance multiple opportunities concurrently
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across multiple departments and influencing internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Grow a portfolio of existing merchants by identifying expansion opportunities, cross/upselling Checkout’s value add services
  • Delivering expertise, education, and guidance to merchants as they craft and complete a comprehensive, global payments strategy
  • Analyse payment performance and provide recommendations to optimise payment flow
  • Understanding the intricacies of our products, services and partner networks thoroughly to leverage as needed to meet our merchants’ needs
  • Collaborating with various teams across the company (e.g. Sales, Integration, Support, Legal, Engineering) to ensure an outstanding merchant experience
