Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer is required, along with 3 years of technical consulting experience. Experience implementing and operating Snowflake-centric solutions, and familiarity with a complete data analytics stack are also necessary. Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology, such as Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc., is required, as is proficiency in implementing data security measures and access controls within the Snowflake platform.
As a Snowflake Solutions Architect, you will directly engage with customers individually or as part of a technical delivery team, oversee and advise on the implementation of the customer's Snowflake platform, demonstrate technical leadership through personally developed code and solution architectures, act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership, extract business requirements and translate them into well-architected recommendations, develop and provide forward-looking guidance, decompose future state goals into actionable execution plans, and collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams. You will also leverage known best practices and solutions to reduce risk to customer implementations and contribute to customer alignment with Snowflake goals.
