Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, public health, healthcare, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, customer success, or partnership management, specifically engaging with public sector and/or government stakeholders. A minimum of 3 years working in or with state, territorial, local, tribal, or federal government agencies is required, along with demonstrated experience selling or implementing complex solutions and a track record of driving significant revenue growth or successful project completion. Proven ability to work with complex, technical software or health-related service offerings and processes involving multiple stakeholders, particularly within a public health setting, is essential. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or higher in a related technical or scientific field, experience with Salesforce.com and Google suite, and a strong connection to Verily's corporate purpose.

Responsibilities

The Solution Sales Specialist will manage the sales process for Verily Sightline's wastewater testing, sequencing, and population health data insights, focusing on public sector and government market segments. This includes understanding customer needs, defining solutions, driving pricing and contracting, and ensuring successful implementation by cross-functional teams. The role involves serving as a client-facing subject matter expert for Verily Sightline products, developing customer and partner relationships, spearheading strategic sales initiatives from lead generation to deal closure, and collaborating with product and marketing teams to provide market feedback. Additionally, the specialist will partner closely with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to achieve individual and shared goals, contributing to team and company-wide objectives.
