Solution Architect - UiPath

Position Overview

As a Solution Architect at UiPath, you will collaborate with businesses and Partners to maximize the potential of the UiPath Automation Platform. You will be instrumental in the design, development, testing, and building of world-class robots that drive revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and customer satisfaction for our end clients. You will be part of an elite group of Developers within UiPath Professional Services and may have the opportunity to lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test automation workflows using UiPath.
• Develop stable, reusable, and scalable RPA solution designs using UiPath.
• Determine development methodologies and best practices.
• Verify and leverage appropriate UiPath components from the UiPath Product Suite.
• Provide solution designs to customers throughout the deployment of new deals, during Proofs of Concept (POCs), and project implementation phases.
• Oversee the development of automation projects and components according to solution designs and requirements.
• Oversee the testing, deployment, hyper care, and monitoring stages.
• Review critical code segments and facilitate knowledge transfer within the project team.
• Develop workflows and custom activities using VB.NET/C#.
• Be responsible for overall testing cycles.
• Deliver technical training, demos, and blueprints, and provide necessary support for new and existing clients.
• Mentor junior Developers and Architects.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science/IT or equivalent degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry with a code development background.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and implementing automation workflows in UiPath.
• Experience leading a team of at least 4 members.
• Strong technical skills in UiPath and the end-to-end UiPath Product Suite.
• Understanding of workflow-based logic and hands-on experience with RE-framework, Orchestration Framework, and DU (Document Understanding) Framework.
• Working knowledge of Document Understanding, Computer Vision, AI Center, and Action Center.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge in VBA/VB/Java/C# script or equivalent is essential (any scripting language, Python is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Mainframe Automation, SAP Automation, or Citrix Automation is a plus.
• Experience working with other RPA tools is a plus.
• UiPath Automation Solution Architect Professional certification is preferred.
• Knowledge in cognitive automation with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tools, AI/ML skills is a plus.
• Understanding of UiPath Infrastructure requirements is a plus.
• Experience working with Test Suite, Apps, and Insights is a plus.
• Understanding of Generative AI and new UiPath releases is a plus.
• Understanding of Cloud services like Azure/AWS/GCP is a plus.
