Job Description: Physician Reviewer - Endocrinology
Position Overview
Dane Street, a national provider of Group Health Review services, is expanding its physician panel. This telework opportunity offers non-traditional physician work and supplemental income by providing a caseload customized to your schedule. As an independent contract reviewer (1099), you will be compensated on a per-case basis.
Specialty Needed
- Endocrinology: Seeking a specialist with direct experience prescribing and treating gender dysphoria patients, specifically a Gender Affirmation Treatment specialist. WPATH GEI Certification for Care of Transgender Adolescents is required.
Responsibilities
- Address the medical necessity of treatment requests.
- In appeals, address the medical necessity of previously denied services.
- Provide advisory-only opinions.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Washington Medical License.
- Active Practice Board Certified.
- Specialization in Endocrinology with expertise in Gender Affirmation Treatment and experience prescribing/treating gender dysphoria patients.
- WPATH GEI Certification for Care of Transgender Adolescents.
