Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Position Overview
BlackStone eIT is seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes, and you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify issues early in the development cycle. Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Automated Testing Tools: Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) and manual testing techniques.
- Programming Languages: Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- API Testing:
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman.
- Proficiency with Postman and Swagger for API testing.
- Knowledge of GraphQL.
- Performance Testing: Experience with JMeter.
- Mobile Testing: Experience with mobile testing on Android and iOS.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace or Azure Application Insights.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
