Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
Experience working with technology-based processes in a business environment
Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines
Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines
Computer literacy and typing skills
Ability to handle any lifting, bending, traveling, etc., required for job duties
Ability to sit for long periods and perform computer work
Supply and support own internet services with uninterrupted connection for work-from-home

Responsibilities

Review reports accompanying medical records to ensure completeness and that all client questions are addressed
Follow up with reviewers for any additional questions or clarifications needed
Follow up with clients for any additional questions
Update clients frequently on referral progress
Ensure reports are grammatically correct with no spelling errors
Ensure each referral adheres to the QA checklist prior to completion
Format reports for approval
Communicate clearly and concisely between customers, reviewers, and Operations team
Confidently speak with physicians and clients regarding the content of their peer reviews
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs
