Requirements

Experience leading a team in an advanced technological environment
Background in software development

British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
Ability to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks
Ability to manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet project timelines and quality standards

Capable of fostering growth and collaborating with multi-functional teams to achieve project objectives within schedule and budget constraints

Responsibilities

Head up and grow a group developing Real-Time Embedded software for defence systems
Shape, support, and develop a team of software engineers working on Embedded/Real Time Software projects
Specify, design, build, test, and deliver software that transforms electronic parts into missile systems
Develop software for Flight Computers on missiles, some with elevated safety integrity levels
Work alongside a multidiscipline engineering team as part of a supportive software engineering team
Develop core leadership skills and gain experience in complex embedded systems
