Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-college or university, and have 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training. They should have an understanding of various development programs, excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing), the ability to quickly learn customer support processes, tools, and techniques, and the ability to collaborate and work remotely using communication tools. Furthermore, candidates should be able to multitask and self-organize, prioritizing activities, and demonstrate attention to detail, along with an understanding of using monitoring systems.
The Software Engineer I will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products, as well as develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms. They will also help to provide administration, development, and application support for end users, assist in the design, develop, code, test, and debug system software, review code and design, assist with configuring and integrating third-party software components and technologies, perform root cause analysis of network, operating system, and other issues, assist with addressing and resolving software bugs, provide limited after hours and on-call support as needed, assist with review and development of test documentation, and work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives, while also performing other duties as required.
