Tebra is seeking an eager Software Engineer II to join a cross-functional team focused on solving real-world problems for healthcare providers. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to design, build, test, and enhance features that empower customers to effectively manage their businesses and deliver patient care. Your Area of Focus

  • Design and build data-driven software.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of the software.
  • Translate customer requirements into software designs.
  • Design and implement robust software APIs.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve software reuse and scalability.

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 1+ years of software development experience using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to independently own and develop areas of code within the Tebra software platform.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into small, incremental blocks of work.
  • Ability to build software that is reusable, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Ability to accurately estimate small to medium-sized tasks.
  • Keen eye for existing and emerging technologies that could align with business needs.
