Requirements

  • Experience with Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern UI framework like React
  • Comfortable working with others to build and maintain quality user interfaces for a large audience
  • Experience with the technical challenges of rapid growth (preferred)
  • Growth Engineering experience at another company
  • Comfortable iteratively testing product flows using A/B testing to understand customer behavior and make data-informed decisions
  • Ability to decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, either independently or with teammates
  • Comfortable asking for help when needed
  • Focus on business impact and prioritization of projects
  • Understanding the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line
  • Critical thinking and a user-centric approach
  • Full-time, in-person employment, attending two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) in the office and spending the majority of the week working in the office

Responsibilities

  • Deliver experiments end-to-end, from ideation to analysis, with velocity and quality to move core business metrics
  • Gain a deep understanding of the Notion customer to identify key points in their journey and uncover insights that drive activation and engagement
  • Plan, shape, and build new features to create a more engaging and personalized early product experience for customers
  • Accelerate the value of Notion to its growing user base through experiments, feature creation, and data-driven insights
  • Own the product’s ins and outs, using a blend of data, research, and product intuition
