Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, particularly in autonomous systems or robotics, is required. Responsibilities

The Software Engineer, Generalist will collaborate with hardware and robotics engineers, as well as other software engineers, to design, develop, and deploy software solutions for autonomous surface vessels. They will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The engineer will develop robust and scalable software systems, implement algorithms for perception and navigation, and optimize software performance to meet DoD standards. Additionally, they will conduct thorough testing and validation of software components and stay current with emerging technologies in the field.
