Responsibilities

Be the go-to person for developers on complex problems in iOS development
Drive new features from end-to-end through prototyping, validation, implementation, launch, and continuous iteration
Build the technical foundation for future features and experiences
Design and implement new features
Refactor existing code
Collaborate with other engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet Reddit’s high standards for performance, reliability, and scalability
Set the technical direction for iOS at Reddit, including providing libraries/APIs/frameworks, monitoring and improving performance, building shared components, improving build tools, and owning core components like the networking and caching stack
Define design patterns and technologies to employ in the Reddit codebase
