Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field, with at least 3 years of focused experience in perception, including sensing, preprocessing, detection, and tracking. Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS2 is required, along with the ability to work autonomously. A PhD in a relevant discipline and experience developing CUDA kernels are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for training, deploying, and monitoring 2D/3D object detection models using Camera, LiDAR, and Radar data. They will also build and maintain data collection, labeling, and evaluation pipelines, manage a proprietary multi-modal dataset for training and evaluation, and architect a deterministic secondary perception system. Additionally, the engineer will mentor junior engineers on best practices.
