Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, 3-5 years of experience in product engineering backend roles, a strong understanding of cloud platforms, ideally AWS, and proficiency in scripting and automation using languages, ideally Python.

Responsibilities

The Product Engineer will play a direct role in building features that delight users while maintaining high technical standards, collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape features from concept to launch, lead medium-scale projects, break down complex product requirements into clear technical specifications, and participate in the full product development lifecycle, from user research and prototyping to implementation and iteration. They will also communicate effectively with the product and design teams to understand user needs and translate them into elegant technical solutions, while being comfortable giving and receiving feedback during product reviews and design critiques, and clearly explaining technical constraints and opportunities.
