Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 3 years of backend development experience, expertise in Python (with Django framework experience preferred), and a strong record of building and delivering web applications. Familiarity with modern infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and CircleCI is preferred. Understanding of modern software development practices, including Gitflow, continuous integration, and peer reviews, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer (Backend) will design, architect, and build Standard Metrics’ core product as a member of the engineering team, taking ownership of entire outcomes and supporting their growth through iteration, documentation, and bug fixes. They will collaborate with the product team in scoping features, and actively contribute to the company culture and future hiring efforts.
