Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, and a minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience with hands-on project management in Data Warehousing, with at least 4 years of experience working on Snowflake. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL data stores, methods, and approaches, including star and snowflake dimensional modeling, is required.
Responsibilities
The Snowflake Lead Engineer will be responsible for managing projects in Data Warehousing, developing and implementing ETL data pipelines using Snowpipe and SnowSQL, designing and building manual or auto ingestion data pipelines, creating stored procedures and writing queries for data analysis and transformation, and ensuring Snowflake is aligned with business needs through ongoing updates to modeling principles and best practices. They will also lead in developing project requirements for end-to-end data integration processes, expertise in Snowflake concepts like resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, and time travel, and making necessary updates to Snowflake environment to build data movement strategy.
