Candidates should possess 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment, outstanding presenting skills for both technical and executive audiences, broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies such as Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric, hands-on expertise with SQL and Python, and the ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred, with a Master’s degree in Data Science or Business Administration being a plus. Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) like EY, Deloitte, or Accenture would be beneficial.
As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers, work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, immerse yourself in the evolving industry to maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies, collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products, and ultimately close business. You will connect a customer’s specific business problems and Snowflake’s solutions, do deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks, and ensure data is accessible, usable, and valuable to everyone.
