Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to join their team and help build the future of the AI Data Cloud. This role involves working directly with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on sales cycles, deliver compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and close business. The ideal candidate is passionate about reinventing the database space, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is comfortable interacting with both business executives and technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboard sessions and formal presentations/demos.
  • Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
  • Ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake's solutions.
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
  • Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle (demo, proof of concept, design, and implementation).
  • Immerse yourself in the industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and positioning Snowflake effectively.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
