Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in SaaS sales, particularly within the government sector. Strong knowledge of the public sector and experience selling to local government agencies are essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required, along with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
The SLED Local Enterprise Account Executive will generate subscription sales for Granicus’s SaaS platform and related services within a designated territory, collaborating with the Marketing Team to cultivate a strong lead pipeline and nurture leads effectively. They will craft compelling value propositions, facilitate collaborative selling with partners, lead pursuit teams for larger opportunities, guide prospects through the purchasing process, and develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to exceed sales targets. Furthermore, they will gain deep insight into customer requirements and independently create and deliver customized presentations.
