Requirements

Strong Kubernetes experience – understanding how to deploy and maintain production-grade clusters and workloads (self-hosted is a bonus)
Infrastructure as Code – Pulumi (TypeScript), Terraform, Ansible; comfortable building systems from the ground up
CI/CD pipelines – debugging, improving, and automating them end-to-end
Cloud platforms – deep experience in Azure (preferable), AWS or GCP
Infrastructure automation – reusable, scalable solutions (not just scripts); pieces of software that fit into an ecosystem of automations primarily code
Golang and/or Python – software engineering experience (scripting alone isn’t enough)
Proficiency in English language (B2+/C1 level)
Mindset applying software engineering principles to infrastructure problems (not just simple bash scripts)
Pragmatic, self-sufficient SRE with solid software engineering principles to solve complex infrastructure problems
Automates first, understands the big picture, works alongside developers to enable velocity without sacrificing stability or security
Builder and problem solver who designs and builds custom solutions when existing tools fall short
Thinks critically about systems, scalability, and resilience
Works cross-functionally with developers and product teams
A doer who owns outcomes, not just tasks

Responsibilities

Design and build custom solutions when existing tools fall short
Think critically about systems, scalability, and resilience
Work cross-functionally with developers and product teams
Deploy and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters and workloads
Build systems from the ground up using Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible)
Debug, improve, and automate CI/CD pipelines end-to-end
Manage infrastructure on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Develop reusable, scalable infrastructure automation solutions in Golang and/or Python
Apply software engineering principles to solve infrastructure problems
Enable developer velocity while maintaining stability and security (potential growth into Developer Experience roles)
