Requirements

  • Expertise (SME) in Lean, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Manufacturing Standards of Operational Excellence, and Human Performance Reliability (HPR)
  • Strong skills in coaching, training, and developing teams and leaders in Operational Excellence practices, tools (e.g., daily management, A3 thinking, standard work), and program execution
  • Experience in project management processes and methodologies to deliver Continuous Improvement projects on time, with high quality, and meeting expectations
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in initiatives like Continuous Improvement, RCA, Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), and HPR
  • Proficiency in facilitating Operational Excellence training, education sessions, and communication to all employee levels
  • Capability to influence organizational uptake of OpEx practices, tools, behaviors, and culture
  • Skills in strategy deployment, business planning, metrics review, trend identification, and leading improvement initiatives
  • Experience in building and leading Operational Excellence teams, including identifying, recruiting, and onboarding talent
  • Knowledge of establishing Operational Excellence systems (e.g., Lean Production, Lean Management, digitally integrated visual management)
  • Ability to ensure strategies and projects meet safety, product quality, compliance, financial, and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support the Operational Excellence Management System for Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) at the site level
  • Serve as key interface between Global OpEx team and site, and between Site OPEX Team and Site Leadership Team (SLT)
  • Lead the Site Operational Excellence Lead Team and provide OpEx support for site central functions
  • Own site prioritization process, Operational Excellence education strategy, roadmap, and site-wide transformational initiatives
  • Participate in Site Lead Team metrics reviews, identify trends, and lead site improvement initiatives
  • Assist in preparation of Site Business and Strategic Plan; lead strategy deployment and participate in relevant SLT topics
  • Develop, coach, and lead local OpEx team members; identify, recruit, and onboard OpEx talent
  • Facilitate OpEx training to all employee levels; coach teams and leaders in Lean tools and systems
  • Host local OpEx education and communication sessions to monitor execution, share best practices, foster collaboration, and apply PDCA cycles
  • Serve as technical leader for OpEx Business Partners, building their skills in manufacturing operations, Lean, RCA, Problem Solving, HPR, and program management
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing strategies for Continuous Improvement, RCA, FMEA, HPR, etc
  • Establish and implement project management processes for Continuous Improvement projects
  • Lead establishment of OpEx systems (e.g., Lean Production, Lean Management, digitally integrated visual management) within assigned areas
  • Facilitate shared learning, networking, and knowledge management (description cuts off here)
