Responsibilities

  • Deliver a World-Class Guest Experience: Enthusiastically stay near the entrance, encourage people to come inside, welcome guests, guide them through experiences, ensure exceptional moments from gearing up to gearing down, handle retail guidance and in-store escalations
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Master proprietary technology as the go-to technical expert, ensure play areas and equipment are calibrated, help guests fit gear properly, address technical mishaps lightheartedly to maintain immersion
  • Keep it Shiny: Maintain order and cleanliness of stores, experience rooms, and equipment to ensure a premium and professional experience
  • Shift Management: Operate as Opener or Closer as leader-on-duty, maintain daily checklists and audits, manage day-of labor spend including breaks based on bookings and walk-ins, lead team during downtime to maximize walk-in potential
  • Shift Leadership: Initiate check-ins with team members starting shifts, outline day's goals and success paths, engage with team for in-the-moment coaching to keep performance and morale high
  • Training: Provide on-the-job training for new Guest Experience Guides and Leads on the full Guest Journey, manage assigned e-learning course catalog, help new staff complete training while supporting front-of-house service
